US Citizen Working Abroad Wants to Avoid Double Tax
Hello All, I'm a US Citizen working in the South Pacific for the last 15 months. I see that if I earn over $92k I will be taxed both in the US and overseas on any amount beyond that. My career direction is to do electro-mechanical work on offshore oil rigs where the pay will be far beyond the $92k. I don't mind paying tax in the jurisdiction I live and earn in, but it wouldn't make any sense to take a dangerous job, with long durations at sea, just to pay 60-70% tax on all that money. I like Australia and New Zealand, but will work anywhere warm or mild, and coastal. I'm young with no family, and don't mind 'developing' countries that some might find risky. Any thoughts on where I can work and keep most of what I earn? Any places that won't report my earnings to the US? I'm open to ANY ideas to avoid double tax! Many Thanks!!John Galt

Dietary / Vitamin supplements import from US to EU
We want to import dietary / vitamin supplements (mostly male enhancement, weight loss, etc. - which improve physical performance valued at 50$ per bottle/box) from the US (via USPS shipments) to the EU and wonder which VAT rate would apply to dietary supplements and how are the import regulations? We are looking forward for the most hassle-free country. Does anyone have experience in this field?

Delaware LLC opening bank account in New York
Was wondering if opening a bank account for a Delaware LLC will create liability for paying state taxes (nexus I assume?) in New York for New York sales, even I I don't register in New York state?
I will not have any presence at all in New York, just that possibly I have a better chance to open a bank account for DE LLC since I am non-US resident.
I am also not sure if I am found to have a bank account in New York, I may be penalized for not registering in New York state even though my bank contact says I do not need to register to open a bank account(where elsewhere I have read I need to to open a bank account)
Sales generated will be from world including all of USA and New York possibly.
I also understand this does not necessarily mean this is USA sourced income, since having customers in USA doesn't mean its classed as US sourced income. Will not be providing any services in the US. http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=520545
Appreciate any advise.

What's the cheapest offshore company formation service?
I'm from the EU, and would like to open a company (either inside or outside the EU) that would allow me not to pay VAT when buying Internet services from the EU (typically from Germany). It would also provide me with a more professional name to hold all my domains and Internet services, and help me keep my home address private.
Can anyone suggest a good service that will take care of this? Cheapest meaning it shouldn't be too expensive to open AND maintain, as I won't really be trading anyway (using services for my own benefit at the moment, so I also don't need bank accounts etc. for the company)...Anto
