I look for a place with good internet connection, nice weather, cheap to live, nice nature, low tax, good international connections (by air), good medical infrastructure & English speaking (or second language). Any ideas?

Try some places in Honduras on the coast. Or Argentina (Buenos Aires), although you might have to pick up some spanish, or better yet, find yourself a beautiful tutor!

Cyprus is the place. Bigger than Malta, English speaking, interesting nature, history, culture, good infrastructure, low tax, reliable service providers.

True, although most people speak at least some English, especially nearer the bigger towns. My father lives with his laptop near Larnaca Cyprus - he doesn't speak Greek and does just fine.

The only place at the moment that can offer you what you describe, and more, is Panama. Panama is politically and financially stable. You will find great international connections. Panama is relatively safe, you have access to the Atlantic & Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea within 2 hours; you can experience cool mountain air in 45 minutes or by driving to Chiriqui; fantastic diving; fishing. Excellent world class shopping, dining, entertainment; sophisticated banking, banking secrecy laws; English is widely spoken, good property developments, diverse international community. Interernational and private schools, multi-open-religious organizations. World class medical care. Clean Air! Free zone, Panama Canal, beautiful women, great parties, good carnaval, quiet but never boring.

As for the languages on Cyprus: English and Greek are the official ones. There is a large community of English people there - you can live well and conduct your business without speaking Greek.

You can get better than nice nature. The best possible nature, in fact the paradise = Kenya. All you need is a little sense and interest in adventure. For retiree there is no tax as there is no income. Medical care is good although for open heart operation you would prefer Thailand or India medic tourism. The beaches are among the best (fishing, diving...) and games reserves are everywhere.

I have to admit that Malta is not the most pritty place in the world, but it can tick all the other boxes. Due to the vicinity to Sicily you have a lot of options for entertainment there as well. info(at)eu-hub.com www.eu-hub.com Eu-Hub Malta Limited

An obvious choice would be the Commonwealth of Dominica, W.I. English speaking, English Common law, no/low taxation, nature in abundance, stable (as are most island-states in the caribbean) I would thoroughly recommend.

I recommend Ubud in Bali Island, island of paradise, many artists chose to live there for the beauty of it. Based on UN its number 1 place to live.Cost of live is without question extremely cheap. Just googling Ubud or email me benova_co@yahoo.com.

If you are on retirement you may eligible for a special tax ruling and live on Curacao with part of the Dutch Kingdom in the Carribbean. English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamento (esperanto-like) are widely spoken by all.

Why not go to Portugal, nice sunny and golden sand beaches where many of your british compatriates already have holiday homes and many live all year round. Try Algarve, Lisbon or Braga. I'm sure you will enjoy!!!

Basically, you should just open a Maltese Company for your business. Once that is established you can live at different places and try out where you like it most. info(at)eu-hub.com www.eu-hub.com Eu-Hub Malta Limited skype: euhubmalta
