Hi I work for a multinational company and I have actually my tax residence in Portugal where I pay 42% of income tax. I have the option to change residence to France, Germany, UK, Sweden,Belgium or Nederlands. What can I do to lower this rate a lot? Txs

If you can’t afford Monaco, don’t like Gibraltar, and wish to consider Bulgaria as an option… the personal income tax is flat-rate 10%. Free lances get away with as little as 7.5%. Social security contributions are capped at EUR 260 person/month, and the consumer price index is 51% of the EU average.

If your company would allow it I would suggest that you form an offshore account and trust structure with possibly an International business company in Belize. Your company could then pay your IBC and you could live anywhere in europe and pay no tax although you should pay local income tax on your local income ( ie you transfer enough to cover mortgage or so ) Andre at ASK CS will be able to help. andre.nell@askcs.co.uk
